Great game, though it's a little small, I have to lean forward to read it.

@samman062898, technically mars can't get "earth"quakes, but it does get massive quakes, or "mars"quakes if you want. Especially since Mars is almost exactly like Earth, the biggest exception being that it's a bit smaller, and everything else just kind of stems as a result of that. It's not something unique to Earth, in fact Earth is rather stable when compared to some other planets.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

Well, I only know of one way to fix that, and it may not be the best way and it may not work with whatever program you're using to make the game, but create a command where every time the player's box moves past the last pixel of the screen, have the game automatically move it TO the last pixel on the screen. This simulates a wall. I didn't bother trying to explain it well so just look it up.

Oh, and fun little troll game ya got here, but it's "troll power level" is quite a ways below the first level.

Started out pretty fun (if not a bit buggy), the things got worse and worse. The gameplay is perfectly fine (if not overused, but it's a genre, so that can slide), but things just get glitched so often and easily. I played for 5 minutes, and I now cannot beat a level because of an overextending hit box, and when I hit restart/replay/whatever the box got glitched into the side of the screen. And what's with the hovering black box when I finish a level?

Good game, but just really needed to be polished up and cook a little more. It almost seems like the creator didn't actually play through the game once they finished making it.

I don't feed trolls. I'll admit this was pretty funny, and so I'll just leave it be.

Pretty fun game actually. I think the shortness works to your advantage. After reading your description I can see that you've pretty much left it alone, which is a shame because you had something going, but good because what's here is good. I don't think I would be willing to sit through another sidescroller like this. There are just too many, and they're all good, but still way more than I can bear.

Anyways, I did play this around the time it was first posted, and I do enjoy the changes you made (the enemies that slow you down is really the only one I can spot XP).

Very enjoyable game. I'm not going to lie but I am trying to compete in StencyJam2012 and I'm checking on the entries every now and then to see if I should bother continuing, :/

Out of all the games I've played so far for the contest (there's not that many right now, but I'm assuming the next 2 weeks will see a surge of entrees), this is the one I have spent the most time on. I can play and forget the others, but I keep coming back to this one, which is also distracting me from actually working on my game.

Well, good luck. XD

Wow.. Thanks! This makes me feel awesome! I appreciate it a lot, though unfortunately I decided I will not be continuing this project, even though I said I would. But I am working on a new game.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that there is no way for me to get more ammo. I mash the spacebar but it's not working. Sorry man, wish I could've enjoyed it more.

I'm sorry, but the error is not in the game.

Neat graphics, but I don't feel any strong attraction to this game whatsoever. The first time I died it was near the entrance to the region so I repawned right there and didn't care too much. However in that same room I saw the exit and was about to move on when I died, and I didn't bother trying again. I know it's because I'm a lazy bum, but I'm a lazy bum who felt like there was nothing to gain from going through something twice.

Ideas for improvement? Well, the music was a nice loop, it didn't annoy me, so good job there. The camera seemed a bit buggy when scrolling, I don't know how to fix that, but it did kind of seem to give the game a unique feel, so passable job. Motivation? Perhaps a better 'story,' some mechanic that makes you feel like if you progress it will be less likely that you're going to die. I enjoyed it when I got the sword, because I could fight enemies and progress. But that enthusiasm was quickly put down when I had to time passing those arrows.

In the end, I think it's the arrow that ruined it for me. It was just sit and wait, and you MIGHT not get hit. Maybe just don't have as many of them? And yes, I know this review was perhaps too long, so please accept my apologies.

Love the art, love the mechanics (mostly wall jumping), and I enjoyed the end-game moral (albeit a tad overused by movies, games, stories, etc.). However this was not an actual game. It was random walking and jumping through bizarre scenery while you walked through text regions. +3 for style and controls and story. 0 for gameplay features.

Whew

Epic Game, but people do want to see the end, you do know that right? XD

Great music and design, but "From Below" is insanely annoying. If you were going for a "WTF?!?" reaction, well, you got it. The name gave away what was going to happen, so I saw that coming, but the insanely complex patterns that force you to use your energy slowing time down instead of shooting had me at a loss for words. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but I still say congratulations because Rage Quitting has never been this much fun.
